I began in 1998 and never did I think that dabbling in the art of mehendi would be so fulfilling and rewarding as well as life altering. I have been very blessed to have found great resources in the mehendi world. I located The Henna Page when I was starting this journey. The people and knowledge there have been (and continue to be) a great source of assistance as well as friendship.

Mehendi comes from countries rich in culture and tradition and has not been a part of the USA mainstream culture for very long. Therefore I feel very strongly about how I represent this cultural artform. When I am at events I try very hard to keep my booth like a living room so that it is a place of comfort and relaxation.

I have often been asked why my prices are lower than other's. Another way to look at it might be, I am more expensive than some and more affordable than others. If you hunt around you will find that statement applys to just about everyone.
I want mehendi to be affordable to all. This art is something unique and very special to me so I try to keep my pricing attainable.

Keeping the traditions of mehendi alive belongs to everyone who has fallen in love with this artform. It is a journey that crosses many cultures and many nations and it gives beauty and joy to those who partake of it.

If you are interested in having mehendi done and you are in the NW Washington area, just send an email and we can work out the details. Mehendi is best done in the comfort of your home instead of having you travel to me.

Bridal Mehendi - $200USD for full hands and feet
Bridal Shower/Sangeet- $$15/per 2 hand (one side) or $60/hour per artist
*indo-arabic strip designs for guests

Mother-to-be/pregnancy belly - $75
adorning a beautiful belly is a wonderful gift and special memory to share

Corporate Events - 2 hour minimum:
one artist = $150 total ($75 hour)
two artists (if available) = $300 total ($150/hour)

Mehendi Parties - the fun way to share this experience with your friends-price starts at minimum $120.00 for 2 hours
or each person pays their own-or chips in with the hostesses price. Email for options.

I use top quality henna powders and natural ingredients (found in most kitchens) to make the henna paste I use. NO chemicals, NO PPD/BlackHenna. Ingredient list can be furnished upon request, although I do keep a copy in the front of my 'gig' books for public knowledge.
